Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, will participate in the upcoming national job fair with an exciting stand where visitors can learn about job opportunities at the airline and submit their résumés.

In addition, visitors to the fair, which is set to take place on Friday, 26 February, will have the chance to speak with Air Seychelles recruitment specialists about career prospects in aviation and meet the Air Seychelles representatives.

Roy Kinnear, Chief Executive Officer of Air Seychelles, said: “We have exhibited at the job fair for more than ten years now and believe it is the perfect opportunity for prospective jobseekers to meet our recruiters face-to-face and find out what makes Air Seychelles a leading employer in the country.

“Air Seychelles is a growing airline, as our recent network expansions to Beijing, Mauritius and Mumbai clearly demonstrate, and is constantly looking out for talented Seychellois who can join our team and contribute to our on-going success.

“A career in aviation is fast-paced, rewarding and takes you around the world, and on top of that we have a very strong focus on developing our people, with world-class training in Seychelles and Abu Dhabi.

As part of its philosophy of succession planning and investing in human resources, Air Seychelles has agreements with the Seychelles Tourism Academy and the University of Seychelles to provide on-the-job training and employment opportunities for students and graduates.

Last year, over fifty jobseekers dropped off their CVs at the Air Seychelles stand. One of these was Shannon Sinon, member of the Air Seychelles Cabin Crew, who said: “I was always interested in a career as a cabin crew, and the job fair gave me the final inspiration to apply. Meeting representatives of Air Seychelles and learning about the role, what it is like to serve guests at 30,000 feet and the great support that the airline provides, motivated me to submit my CV and today I am really happy that I did.”
