A 15 minute plod from Grand Anse, Petite Anse on La Digue is perfect for some “me-time”. Expect to be rewarded by turquoise shallows, a half-moon of white sand and nobody in sight. If you head to the north of the beach, you might be able to spend some time on the granite boulders and admire the occasional sea eagle.

If you are looking for a more intimate level, the Anse Georgette beach awaits you on Praslin with its typical granite rocks and magnificent scenery worthy of the most attractive postcards. Nevertheless, in terms of authenticity and preservation, Cousin Island and Curieuse Island remain the best.

Lastly, you will have to visit the most beautiful beach – Anse Source D’Argent. Having been voted as one of the top ten most beautiful beaches in the world, this beach is lined with blocks of pink granite, surrounded by turquoise water. To be safe, it is recommended that you inquire before swimming in case of adverse weather conditions or similar. From April to October, it is discouraged to paddle on several beaches of La Digue due to pounding waves.
