To meet the gradual demand from the South African market, Air Seychelles will start to offer travelers two flights per week between Johannesburg and the Seychelles, from 3 February, 2022.

Scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays flight HM060 will depart O R Tambo International Airport at 13:50hrs to arrive in the Seychelles at 20:45hrs, whilst flight HM061 bound to South Africa will depart the archipelago at 9:25hrs to arrive in Johannesburg at 12:30hrs.

Set to be operated by the airlines’ fleet of A320neo aircraft, the increased service will provide business and leisure travelers more choice when planning their trip between the two countries, including a seamless connection for those traveling on the Sunday flight to Mumbai of less than 2 hours over the Seychelles.

Remaining committed to maintaining the vital tourism link established between Johannesburg and Maldives,  Air Seychelles confirms that while flights will remain on pause in February, the airline will restore connectivity to this island nation effective 4, March 2022, providing travelers the chance and more options to plan their well-deserved tropical getaway to the Indian Ocean.

To book these flights travelers are invited to visit www.airseychelles.com or to contact their travel agents. Amidst the unprecedented environment, travelers are encouraged to follow all regulations prior to departure and at the country of destination. In the meantime, Air Seychelles will continue to monitor its performance to rebuild its network and offer more options as travel confidence returns.
