Air Seychelles is pleased to announce the resumption of its commercial passenger services between Seychelles and South Africa, following the recent announcement made by the Ministry of Health allowing travel between the two countries as from 13 September, 2021.

The twice weekly flights to be reinstated by 24 September, 2021 will depart the Seychelles International Airport on Fridays and Sundays. A late evening service departing from Johannesburg on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons to the Seychelles have also been added to the schedule.

To view the latest flight schedule and for bookings travellers are advised to check online or contact their travel agents. Travellers originating from Praslin are encouraged to book their return flights directly between Johannesburg and Praslin to maintain the same baggage allowance throughout their trip.

All travellers to South Africa must produce a negative PCR test taken not more than 72 hours, must download the COVID Alert South Africa app in addition to completing the Entry Screening Traveller Health Questionnaire available at www.airports.co.za before departure from Seychelles. Travellers must also provide proof of accommodation, address in South Africa including their COVID-19 travel insurance.

For those bound to the Seychelles besides the negative PCR test, the completed Health Travel Authorization approval at seychelles.govtas.com must also be presented upon check-in prior to departure from Johannesburg.
