Speaking to guests, Alan Renaud, General Manager Aeropolitical, Alliances and Public Affairs of Air Seychelles, said: “We are very excited about the launch of our Durban service, which will establish a second important connection to South Africa for Air Seychelles, in addition to Johannesburg.
“As of today, travellers from Durban will be one short flight away from our Mahé hub, where they have convenient access not only to our famous islands but the rest of the Indian Ocean, as well as, Mumbai, Abu Dhabi and Dusseldorf.
“In addition, we have timed our flights so that guests have seamless, one-stop connections from Mumbai to Durban via Seychelles, making this popular journey many degrees simpler.
“Our partners, from travel agents to airport authorities and codeshare partner South African Airways are all very excited about our Durban service and the opportunities it will open up on both ends of the route.”
Air Seychelles has a codeshare partnership with South Africa Airways which will allow the airline to further expand travel options between Durban and Seychelles for business and leisure guests.
