Air Seychelles is pleased to announce that it has successfully passed and received its IOSA Renewal Certification this year. This marks the tenth time the carrier has successfully achieved this renewal. The National carrier’s first certification was obtained in 2006.

The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Program is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management
and control systems of an airline. The audit creates a standard that is comparable on a world-wide basis, enabling and maximizing the joint use of audit reports.

Held once every two years, the intensely rigorous and comprehensive audit was conducted in August 2022 and was the first onsite renewal since the COVID-19 pandemic when it was being done remotely in adherence to health guidelines.

Commenting on the national carrier’s re-certification, Acting Chief Executive Officer Sandy Benoiton says “Safety remains our top priority at Air Seychelles, and this renewed certification is testament to our dedication and continuous efforts to conform to the industry standards. My gratitude goes to my employees for their commitment to the security of our operations.”
