Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, has participated this week in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the leading trade event for the Middle East travel industry.

The airline was present at the Seychelles Tourism Board stand, where visitors were able to learn more about the carrier’s products, services, and the double-daily connection between Abu Dhabi and Seychelles operated by Air Seychelles and Etihad Airways.

The airline was represented by Maja Gedosev, General Manager Sales, Distribution and Corporate Affairs, Cindy Vidot, Head of International Sales, Sabrina Agathine, Head of Marketing and Nicky Bijlaney, Business Development Manager for the United Arab Emirates and GCC.

Roy Kinnear, Chief Executive Officer of Air Seychelles, said: “We are delighted to exhibit alongside the Seychelles Tourism Board at this year’s Arabian Travel Market, the largest trade show in the region.

“Passenger numbers have grown year-on-year from the UAE and wider GCC markets, and in 2017 we have already recorded nearly 7,000 arrivals in the first quarter, making this an important source of inbound tourism.

“Our islands are renowned for being a safe and friendly holiday destination, and are only a short four-and-a-half hour flight from Abu Dhabi, making Seychelles the perfect place for a family getaway or an extended weekend break for both UAE and the wider GCC audience.”

“The ATM is the perfect opportunity for Air Seychelles to raise awareness of Seychelles and strengthen our relationships with the travel trade.”

The business-to-business event, now in its 24th year, has attracted more than 40,000 travel professionals, government ministers and international press.
