Air Seychelles has extended its codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways to include services to Casablanca, the business capital of Morocco.

Air Seychelles will put its HM flight code on Etihad Airways’ daily flights between the city’s Mohammed V International Airport and Abu Dhabi International Airport, where guests can connect onto seamless services to and from Seychelles.

Manoj Papa, Air Seychelles’ Chief Executive Officer said: “We are delighted to expand our codeshare on Etihad Airways to Casablanca, a city of four million that has for decades held a magnetic pull on travellers.

“The outbound tourism market in Morocco is expected to grow to 452,000 in 2015*, and with this codeshare, travellers from this country now have convenient, one-stop access to Seychelles.

“In addition, Casablanca is Air Seychelles’ first codeshare point in North Africa and demonstrates our commitment to increasing the passenger and cargo flows between our archipelago and the world.

“Every time we add a new codeshare destination with Etihad Airways, we are building more depth into our network and driving continued and sustainable growth in the Seychelles economy.”

Flight tickets between Casablanca and Seychelles are available for travel from 10 February and can be purchased through any Air Seychelles sales office, the Air Seychelles website on www.airseychelles.com, or through travel agents.
