Globally, specific regulations have been put in place for arriving and departing passengers to limit the spread of COVID-19. To ensure you arrive at the airport with the appropriate travel documents please see below country information, depending on your country of origin and final destination.

As the requirements may change due to the unprecedented environment, please check back frequently for the latest COVID-19 travel requirements.

Disclaimer: Passengers are responsible for verifying their COVID-19 entry requirements into their destination country and must ensure all related travel documents are available upon check-in. Air Seychelles will not be held responsible for any restriction imposed from boarding a flight or entering a destination due unavailability of proper documentation.


Seychelles is open to all visitors regardless of vaccination status.

Visitors must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken 72 hours before departure. Upon receipt of PCR test results, visitors must complete the mandatory Health Travel Authorization (HTA) at submitting the PCR results, a selfie, passport details and hotel confirmation for the entire stay. This process must be completed immediately.

Visitors must also have valid travel health insurance that includes cover for COVID-19 related isolation, quarantine and clinical care.

Onboard Service

  • Boarding the aircraft is being conducted by rows, in a specific numerical order, as per their assigned seat.
  • Each passenger will undergo one temperature screening at the aircraft door before final boarding approval is given.
  • Masks are required for everyone aged 6 and above.
  • Blankets and pillows are available on all flights.
  • Streaming in-flight entertainment is available on your own device.
  • Meal service is available on all flights with complimentary alcohol and hot drinks.

Safety Measures

  • All surfaces are disinfected after every flight. The cleaning process includes a wipe down of surfaces and areas such as windows, tray tables, armrests, seats, air vents and overhead lockers in the cabin, lavatories, galleys and crew rest areas.

Rebook and Refund Policy

Rebook and Refund Policy - International Network


If you are in possession of an Air Seychelles ticket and your flights has been cancelled, you have the possibility to:

  • Unlimited date changes for free for travel up to 31 March, 2022. Any fare difference for new travel dates will apply.
  • Request a refund for your ticket for the cancellation of the flight.
  • Voluntary refund for scheduled flights will be as per fare rules.
  • Refunds may take up to 6 months to process.
  • Passengers originating from Johannesburg can request for change in destination with an option for travel between Johannesburg and Maldives. Any fare difference for the change will apply.

Rebook and Refund Policy - Domestic Network

  • Passengers holding a separate (stand alone) domestic ticket will still have applicable change fees.
  • Passengers holding domestic through tickets for travel on both the domestic and international network (one ticket connecting international and domestic) the rebook and refund policy as per the International network will apply.

Refundability of your ticket remains as per the fare rules.

  • Date changes will not be permitted more than 3 days to departure. This will be waived should you test positive for COVID-19 or are unable to travel due to COVID-19 related restrictions in the last 3 days prior to departure. You will need to provide proof and documentation of applicable restrictions/certification.
  • Air Seychelles will not charge reissuance fees, only applicable fare differences.
  • Refund requests can be submitted 7 days to departure if you test positive for COVID-19 or are unable to travel due to COVID-19 related health restrictions.
