Domestic baggage allowance for international and domestic tickets
- Resident and Non Resident: 1 checked bag weighing 23kg and 1 hand luggage weighing 5kg.
- Infant (under 2 years old): 1 checked bag weighing 10kg and 1 hand luggage weighing 5kg.
- Size: Checked baggage must not exceed the maximum size of 75cm x 43cm x 90cm.
- Packaging: Checked baggage must be packed properly and should be labeled as appropriate. Reusable shopping bags, printed plastic bags and oversized open tote bags will not be accepted as checked in baggage on any flight.
Guests holding a through ticket from an international flight connecting to and from Praslin will be allowed the same baggage allowance as stated on their ticket from their original point of travel.
Please be informed that the Etihad Airways Frequent Flyer Programme is not valid on the Air Seychelles domestic network.
Excess Baggage Rates for Air Seychelles domestic network
A flat rate of USD5 per kg/SCR75 per kg will apply on any excess baggage weighing more than 23kg not exceeding more than 32kg.
Guest carrying any checked or oversized baggage weighing more than 32kg will need to contact the airlines’ cargo department via email at email@example.com or by phoning +248 4391046 /1311 / 1065 / 1407. All oversized items exceeding the mandatory weight and size limit will be transported as cargo.
An additional cost will also be applied on any checked baggage exceeding the single piece size limit.
Your sports equipment should be part of your checked baggage allowance of 23 kg. Excess baggage rates will apply on sport items exceeding the baggage allowance of 23kg.
The sport equipment must not exceed the maximum size of 75cm x 43cm x 90cm.
Excess baggage fees of USD5 per kg/SCR 75 per kg will be charged on each sport item above the applicable weight of 23kg not exceeding more than 32kg.
