Air Seychelles has today announced that as from next week the airline will start to operate special passenger flights from Seychelles to India, providing Indian citizens the opportunity to return to their home.

The flights set to take place between 20 and 30 July 2020, will be operated to three cities across India including Chennai, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

Note, only valid Indian Passport holders, Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) Cardholders on any compelling reasons, and other foreigners as per Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India’s OM No. 25022/24/2020-FV/FI dated 12 June, 2020 and 1 June, 2020 shall be allowed to travel from Seychelles to these three destinations subject to necessary clearances.

As part of the preventive measure against the spread of COVID-19, all passengers will need to wear their own masks when at the airport and on board the aircraft at all times. Passengers will also need to follow strict guidelines during check-in, boarding, in-flight and upon disembarkation.

As passengers will not be allowed to travel on the flights from India to Seychelles, the returning sectors will be an all-based cargo operation.
