Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, has strengthened its presence in Europe in preparation for the launch of services from Düsseldorf and the increase of flights from Paris.

As part of this, Air Seychelles has established a dedicated office and a team of sales executives who will provide its trade partners in Europe with support across key areas including groups, pricing and marketing.

The team members all have comprehensive experience in the travel and tourism sectors and can be reached via email on europesupport@airseychelles.com or by phoning (+33) 01 42 89 89 60 between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

The airline has also appointed two senior account managers, who will oversee the main commercial activities for major markets in Europe, including France, Italy, UK, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Roy Kinnear, Chief Executive Officer of Air Seychelles, said: “Growing our team with five highly-experienced travel professionals will allow us to serve our trade partners across Europe more effectively as we expand our network to six weekly direct services to Seychelles.

“Focusing on partnerships has always been at the core of our strategy, and this focus is ever-important as we gear up for the launch of our exciting new service from the city of Düsseldorf and the growth of frequency from Paris.

“Our continued cooperation with codeshare partners in Europe will offer enhanced connectivity and travel options to and from Seychelles.”

On 28 March, Air Seychelles will upgrade its service from Paris – Charles de Gaulle from three to four per week, and follow it up two days later with the launch of a new, twice-per-week service from Düsseldorf.

Both services will offer business and leisure travellers non-stop flights to Mahé, the main island of Seychelles, where they can take advantage of seamless connecting flights to the second-largest island of Praslin, which take off every 15 minutes to accommodate international travellers.

In addition, the carrier will provide its guests from Europe with connections over Seychelles to popular destinations in the Indian Ocean and beyond, including the Malagasy capital of Antananarivo and the island of Mauritius.
