Air Seychelles’ Inaugural non-stop flight from Paris touches down in Seychelles

Air Seychelles’ non-stop service between Paris and Seychelles landed at Seychelles early this morning after an overnight flight.

Flight HM 17 touched down at 6:10 am local time and was greeted by a traditional water-cannon salute on arrival.

Roy Kinnear, Chief Executive Officer Air Seychelles, and Sherin Naiken, Chief Executive Officer Seychelles Tourism Board, participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the arrival gate to celebrate the commencement of the new service.

The three-per-week service, which departs Paris on Monday, Thursday and Saturday to arrive the next morning in Seychelles, replaces a previous twice-weekly service via Abu Dhabi.

The flight is operated on a modern Airbus A330-200 aircraft with 18 Business Class and 236 Economy Class seats.

Each guest onboard was presented with a certificate and a key-ring commemorating the inaugural flight.
