Air Seychelles has launched Personal Shopper, a new service that enables residents of Seychelles to conveniently source and send items from South Africa to Seychelles.

The service is offered in conjunction with Personal Shopper South Africa, a procurement specialist based in Johannesburg, who will handle the entire process of locating, ordering and arranging air transportation of goods to Seychelles with Air Seychelles.

Roy Kinnear, Chief Executive Officer of Air Seychelles, said: “We are delighted to launch Personal Shopper, a new cargo service that is perfect for when certain goods are hard to find, out of stock or simply unavailable in Seychelles.

“With this service, our customers can source goods from South Africa, such as DIY hardware and tools, spare vehicle and boat parts and home décor, and arrange quick air freight back home with Air Seychelles, all from the comfort of their home or office.

“We have combined this service with Seychelles Box, our dedicated air freight service for sending personal belongings, to offer our customers a simple, cost-effective and above all convenient solution.

“Customers are at the centre of our business and this is another great example of how, through innovation, we are adapting and delivering to their needs.”

To use the service, customers should email a detailed description of goods they are looking for to sales@personalshoppers.co.za, who will work with suppliers to provide a quotation that includes the shipment price to Seychelles with Air Seychelles. More information about this service can be found on: www.personalshoppers.co.za.

Air Seychelles currently operates three flights per week on the Seychelles-Johannesburg route, which will be enhanced with a fourth weekly frequency between 15 December 2015 and 5 January 2016, offering customers multiple air freight options per week.
