Qualifications and skills
  • Diploma qualification in the travel industry or any related tourism field.
  • Minimum 4 years relevant working experience in a related/similar role. Preferable sales or administrative role in the airline or tourism industry.
  • Must be able to work in a team, under pressure and to short lead times.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal proficiency.
  • Computer literate ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and with good presentation skills.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.

Summary
  • Compile and distribute monthly sales statistics for the Sales & Distribution (e.g. commercial concession on fares,upgrades, excess baggage, etc.
  • Conduct General Sales Agent Relationship Management.
  • Provide sales support to the sales department, including liaison with Marketing and Corporate Communications to assist with delivery of campaigns and materials.
  • Handle assigned internal sales duties: handle trade telephone, fax and email enquiries, and assist with organization of sales events including briefings, training, awards and launches.
  • Manage strategic and creative development, implementation of sales-related events to ensure achievements of objectives, targets and timescale.
  • Monitor sales across the market and produce management information on KPI reports on a monthly basis to measure success of tactics to drive sales.
  • Build relationships and develop customer loyalty with HM whilst strengthening the HM brand. Ensure a high level of customer service at all times.
