Air Seychelles has today announced that the airline will implement further changes on its route network, following the outbreak of The Novel Coronavirus (COVID -19).


Effective 23 March until 19 April 2020, Air Seychelles will significantly reduce its flights to Mauritius, Johannesburg and Mumbai in addition to suspending its services to Tel Aviv until 22 April, 2020. Travellers are advised to view airseychelles.com for the latest flight schedule.


Charles Johnson, Chief Commercial Officer of Air Seychelles said: “Due to the unprecedented events surrounding COVID-19, we regretfully announce the changes to our schedule.


“We continue to evaluate our flight schedule on a daily basis, while also focusing our energy on handling the needs of repatriating Seychellois citizens overseas and ensuring cargo demand is met.”


Air Seychelles has this week extended its waiver policy until 30 April 2020, to provide travellers more choice and flexibility when changing their tickets.


The airline is also notifying all travellers that as the Call Centre is currently experiencing a high volume of calls and emails, to only contact the centre if their travel is within the next 72 hours.
