Air Seychelles Corporate Social Responsibility supports local conservation biologist
Air Seychelles assisted a well-known local Conservation Biologist Dr. Gerard Rocamora in transporting his latest book, a total of 800 copies, titled “Invasive Alien Species in Seychelles” from Paris to Seychelles. Manager for Corporate Social Responsibility, Josie Michaud-Payet handed over the consignment as part of Air Seychelles corporate social responsibility, positioning our airline as environment friendly airline and supporting good initiatives to protect and raise conservation awareness in Seychelles. The 250 page book entitled ‘Invasive Alien Species in Seychelles’ is in English, and is a joint publication of the Island Biodiversity and Conservation centre of the University of Seychelles, the GEF/UNDP funded Project Coordinating Unit of the Seychelles Government, the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle (Paris) and its publisher Biotope Editions.
