Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, today announced the appointment of Japha Ally as General Manager Human Resources.

Mr Ally brings more than 25 years of international corporate human resources experience to his new role at Air Seychelles, where he will be in charge of developing and implementing the airline’s strategic people policies and programmes.

In his previous role, Mr Ally held the position of Human Resources Director at Seychelles Breweries Limited, a Diageo company, prior to which he worked at the telecommunications company, Cable & Wireless Seychelles, also in an executive human resources role.

Roy Kinnear, Chief Executive Officer of Air Seychelles, said: “We are delighted to welcome Japha to the team, a talented executive with an excellent track record in managing human resources at some of the biggest corporate companies in Seychelles.

“It is great to see another talented Seychellois take up a senior managerial role at Air Seychelles.”

A member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in London, Mr Ally is also the proud winner of two National Human Resources Development Awards in Seychelles, in 2012 and 2015.

Mr Ally said: “I am thrilled to join the team at Air Seychelles and look forward to applying the HR knowledge I have gained over the past two decades to ensure our national airline delivers its people strategies and continues to meet its business objectives."
