Qualifications and skills
  • Graduate of a post-secondary institution with a diploma in Finance of Accounting.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ relevant working experience in a similar role.
  • Honest, reliable, trustworthy, accurate and attention to details.
  • Able to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
  • Computer literate, and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good interpersonal competencies – able to effectively communicate and interact with third parties and colleagues.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.

Summary
  • Accurately booked and generate all invoices related to passenger and cargo as per the reporting deadline.
  • Take up and sort out with the Bank Reconciliation team and Cargo Agent, matters relating to improper reporting and non-adherence to remittance procedures as laid down.
  • Monitor al returned cheques, keep records and ensure funds are recovered as per procedure.
  • Account all revenue collected from ancillaries’ sales (CIP/VIP/Fast Track/Ground and Technical handling).
  • Work with respective departmental managers and clients to sort out outstanding balances and other related account discrepancies to ensure timely and accurate receipt of payments. Perform customer account calls, corporate collection calls, and send related e-mails and follow-up regarding past due invoices.
  • Identify, take up and resolve system technical issues affecting the correct and timely processing of cargo/courier/mail/sales and uplifts and generations of accurate sales, revenue reports with the Revenue Accounting System Providers, cargo/courier/out stations/offices and commercial department.
