Qualifications and skills
- Degree holder ideally in Business Administration
- Minimum 5 years work experience in a related/similar role preferable Sales Development in airline, air cargo or logistics industry.
- Excellent sales techniques and negotiation skills.
- Strong market research and analytical skills.
- Proven track record of contract gains and business development.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
- Honest, reliable, trustworthy, confidential, accurate and attention to details.
- Able to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
- Highly-organised with exceptional time management skills.
- Highly computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal competencies – able to effectively communicate and interact with third parties and colleagues.

Summary
- Responsible for Cargo Revenue Management functions – regular analysis, review and adjust the air freight pricing in local and overseas markets. Provide support with ad-hoc requests received for freight sales.
- Responsible for the promotion of all revenue activities for the Cargo and FedEx department and also the management of other airlines handled by Air Seychelles. Ensure that the Cargo Sales team at outstations meet the sales targets, increase market share and focus on high-yield premium revenue.
- Create and deliver key cost and revenue targets for the business unit to ensure alignment and contribution to Air Seychelles’ overall corporate objectives.
- Design, lead and cascade guidelines for commercial negotiations and contract definition to support commercial activities with other airlines, including interline.
- Support with forecasting and budgeting process and provide timely, accurate business activity reports related to Air Seychelles Cargo.
- Monitor progress against revenue and targets, analyse and comment on the monthly traffic/revenue reports and recommend and implement any changes to existing plans and operating budgets.
