The national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, Air Seychelles was incorporated in 1977 and officially named in 1978. From its earliest days connecting the islands by air, the airline has grown into a proud symbol of the nation — carrying the Seychellois spirit across the region and beyond.
In 1983, Air Seychelles launched its first long-haul services, marking a pivotal milestone in opening the islands to the world. Since then, the airline has played a central role in supporting tourism — the cornerstone of the Seychelles economy — while strengthening trade, cultural exchange, and regional connectivity.
Today, Air Seychelles operates international services linking Seychelles with key destinations including Johannesburg, Mauritius, Colombo, Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv, alongside tailored charter services on demand.
On the domestic network, the airline operates multiple daily flights between Mahé and Praslin, in addition to charter flights across the archipelago — ensuring seamless connectivity between Seychelles’ islands for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
More than an airline, Air Seychelles is a national ambassador — welcoming the world with warmth, Creole hospitality, and a deep commitment to service excellence.
