What you should not carry on an Air Seychelles flight

Some items may not necessarily be treated in the same manner by other airlines or at certain airports. We accept no responsibility if certain airports/airlines do not allow carriage of one or more of these items.

For safety reasons, dangerous articles such as those listed below, must not be carried at any time:

Cabin Baggage Restriction to the US

Effective Saturday, 25 March, all US bound Guests travelling from Seychelles on Air Seychelles flights will be required to pack their electronic items which are bigger than smart phones in their check in baggage.  Items include – but are not limited to - laptops, tablets, cameras & e-readers. 

This policy is in line with the decision taken by the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA), in consultation with relevant Departments and Agencies, which has determined it is prudent to enhance security, to include airport security procedures for passengers at certain last point of departure airports to the United States. These enhancements include more stringent measures applied to 10 specific airports.

The affected overseas airports are: Queen Alia International Airport (AMM), Cairo International Airport (CAI), Ataturk International Airport (IST), King Abdul-Aziz International Airport (JED), King Khalid International Airport (RUH), Kuwait International Airport (KWI), Mohammed V Airport (CMN), Hamad International Airport (DOH), Dubai International Airport (DXB), and Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH).
