• Support the airline’s day-to-day internal communications functions, publications, channels and events, assisting with departmental internal communications.
• Provide strategic public relations and strategic internal communication advice to executives and other appropriate staff members on tone, style and content as required. Act as a communication specialist to the business by providing expert advice and guidance on best practices in communication.
• Edit, source and write materials for Internal Communications channels including the Weekly Recap, Corporate Communications and Sirondann - staff newsletter, annual report as required.
• Manage the Employee Plus programme by maintaining the relationships with current partners and seek new partners both locally and internationally to join the programme. Negotiate with the partners and ensure the benefit to the HM employees remain the focus of the programme.
• Ensure employee participation through charitable/voluntary work and remain aware of charitable events taking place locally to ensure employees are provided a platform to provide their contribution.
• Build relationships and develop customer loyalty with HM whilst strengthening the HM brand. Ensure a high level of customer service at all times.
• Assist with the maintenance of the company’s digital platforms including website updates, social media content, email marketing, and analytics.
Our preferred profile:
- Diploma or Degree holder preferred, ideally in the relevant discipline, with qualification in management and communications
- Minimum 3 years’ of work experience in a related/similar role (e.g. business, communications, sales/marketing and fundraising, sponsorship or CSR capacity.
- Excellent communications and writing skills
- Excellent commercial acumen with highly-developed marketing skills
- Interest and knowledge of key social issues affecting society, especially with charities
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Must hold a valid driving license
- Able to work under pressure and to short lead times.
