Technical Publications Officer

• Maintain a comprehensive and current Technical Library- Ensure the Technical Library contains all necessary technical documents to meet scope of maintenance.

• Monitor and assess aircraft Technical Publications to ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain familiarity with all relevant technical manuals and publications.

• Ensure timely acquisition, processing and distribution of complete and current technical manuals, publications and revisions.

• Report to the Manager Technical Support and compliance on all matters regarding the Technical Library and publications requirements.

• Support aircraft maintenance operation to meet the airlines safety and regulatory objectives.

• Responsible to monitor day-to-day activities with consideration to operational safety and security-related risks.

• Abide to all references of quality and/or standards that are laid out in different areas of service provision that meet the safety, operational and commercial objectives of the airline as well as customer airlines.

Our preferred profile:

• IGCSE/O’ Level pass in English,

• Diploma in Business studies

• Five years’ work experience, preferably in an administrative role in the airline industry

• Knowledge of library processes (e.g. Record keeping, cataloging, document processing and database management

• Knowledgeable of and be able to interpret applicability of maintenance data

• Proficient in MS office

• General knowledge of Aviation (advantage)

• Analytical and meticulous to details

• Good command of English, written and spoken

• Ability to work under pressure

• Able to efficiently work independently and as part of a team

• Good administrative proficiencies
