Air Seychelles and the Tourism Department have today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to renew efforts into boosting inbound tourism into the Seychelles and attract travelers across the airline’s regional network. The agreement aims to increase awareness and magnify the Seychelles experience for leisure travelers to visit the archipelago’s unique attractions.

Recovering from the debilitating effects of the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic which brought many uncertainties to the aviation industry, as well as coming out of Administration in November, the national carrier can now review its performance from the past year with a more optimistic outlook.

Air Seychelles is pleased to announce that it has successfully passed and received its IOSA Renewal Certification this year. This marks the tenth time the carrier has successfully achieved this renewal. The National carrier’s first certification was obtained in 2006.

Air Seychelles together with Tourism Seychelles has recently participated in OTM and SATTE in India and IMTM in Israel this February.

The OTM is the largest and most international gathering of travel trade buyers and professionals in India and across Asia. The annual event was held in the busiest financial city of Mumbai between 02nd and 04th February.
