Air Seychelles, the national airline of the islands of Seychelles, has been bestowed its first ever award in the world category of the World Travel Awards programme for the year 2023.

Announced during the Grand Final Gala Ceremony which was held at the Burj Al Arab in Jumeirah, Dubai early this December, Air Seychelles was voted the World’s Leading Airline to the Indian Ocean 2023.

Air Seychelles and the Tourism Department have today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to renew efforts into boosting inbound tourism into the Seychelles and attract travelers across the airline’s regional network. Air Seychelles together with Tourism Seychelles has recently participated in OTM and SATTE in India and IMTM in Israel this February.

The OTM is the largest and most international gathering of travel trade buyers and professionals in India and across Asia. The annual event was held in the busiest financial city of Mumbai between 02nd and 04th February.
