Qualifications and skills
  • Graduate of a post-secondary institution, O’ level/IGCSE in English and Mathematics with a minimum grade C.
  • Diploma in Store Management.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role, ideally in a technical industry, preferably in the aviation business*.
  • Good understanding of materials store experience (Advantage).
  • General knowledge of Aviation (Advantage).
  • Good command of English, written and spoken.
  • Excellent planning and time-management capabilities with the ability to work under pressure and to short lead times.
  • Organized with good attention details.
  • Able to efficiently work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent computer Proficiency (Word, Excel).
  • Good administrative proficiencies.
  • People management skills: Excellent supervisory and leadership
  • Capabilities being able to coach and mentor staff at all levels.
  •  Valid Class 2 Driving License. Valid Airport Driving Permit.
  •  Able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Competent and highly productive.
  •  *Or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Summary
  • Abide to all references of quality and/or standards that are laid out in different areas of service provision that meet the safety, operational and commercial objectives of the airline.
  • Supervise and coordinate an accurate and controlled issuance of all approved aircraft materials and parts in accordance with company approved procedure, ensure software system update accurately and timely.
  • Responsible in ensuring that timely export process of aircraft materials to overseas repair station (including PHB contracted materials,) monitor and coordinate with carrier for proof of delivery (POD) to ensure cost effective shipment, pre-alert sent without delay to avoid penalty.
  • Assist the Cargo department with sea freight custom (SRC) formalities, port clearance and transportation to airport maintenance facility.
  • Supports aircraft maintenance operation to meet airline Safety, Commercial objective and on time release from maintenance (OTP).
  • Monitor and report on inventory level to ensure stock accuracy and oversight on stock count as per financial requirement.
  • Conduct any other related duties as assigned by line management.
